What is Google Guarantee?
Google Guarantee is a part of Google Local Services Ads.
To makes things simple, Google Local Service Ads allows your business to be seen at the top of Google when users area searching for keyword related terms which involve your local business.
Those businesses who have been approved by Google receive the green badge which displays the Google Guarantee.
This badge signifies those businesses which Google has screened (by requiring a thorough background check) and therefore “trusts” allowing customers of a business access to reimbursement outside of general insurance claims.
How to Tell if a Business Is Google Guaranteed
Google users who are searching for local services in their area will be presented with the usual results (Google Map Pack and Google search results).
However Google will also serve at the very top of the page the services which they’ve screened and are shown to have the Google Guaranteed badge placed within their business listing.
Google Guarantee Reimbursement
The amounts which Google Guarantee insures a business for depends on the country a business is in.
For example Google reimbursement lifetime limits up $2000 in both the US and Canada, while providing £1500 in the UK, and €1500 in certain European countries.
What Google Guarantee Doesn’t Cover
Much like any type of reimbursement claim there is limitations. Google Local Ads limits both the customers and companies who use it’s services in book appointments through its platform.
For customers who have booked through Google Local Ads they will need to make their claim within 30 days of a service being completed. Their claims can only be for what the amount for the original performed service and limited to a maximum lifetime.
Additional services which are outside of the original, such as add-ons, cancellations, damages, customer dissatisfaction and future projects are not able to access refunds.
